Description

PoopLog is a free, 9.9MB app from Kesco. The app is only available at Google Play for Android devices 2.2 and up. It holds a 4.2 rating in Google Play and is generally favored by users.

Overview

PoopLog functions as the name suggests. It is a log where users can track their bowel movement and notice irregularities. You can review your bowel history, see it displayed in charts and graphs, and share entries. PoopLog also offers over 20 options to tailor your entries and data for the most accurate results.

“The reporting & analysis tools used include pie charts, bar charts, scatter charts, averages, and totals.

Easy to Review History

PoopLog separates your entries by months that you can view on an all-inclusive calendar. Certain larger screens will display the details beside the history. This can be handy for users who want to closely compare their entries. Since a map view could be more helpful, the creators state that this improvement will be available in the app soon.

Reporting & Analysis

The name of PoopLog could be problematic, as some viewers could mistake it for an entertainment app that offers no practical value. However, the reporting & analysis tools used include pie charts, bar charts, scatter charts, averages, and totals. You can embed photos within the pain-text or rich-text reports. Additionally, the app offers a CSV report for detailed data that you can import into spreadsheets.

Share Entries

The PoopLog share feature offers various sharing options. Users can pick and choose which entries they feel comfortable sharing with others instead of only being able to share the full report. This offers the ability to connect while still providing discretion for such a private subject. The data and display is impressive, however, users could potentially be overwhelmed from the excessive information.
